Job Description

As a front-end developer your primary responsibility is to ideate, build and maintain our premium Wordpress themes, service websites, plugins and frameworks. You may be asked to participate or lead the development of a project or an integral part of it. You can manage to work on multiple projects if demanded. You are confident with a wide range of front-end development practices and emerging trends. You are well-known for your high collaborative skills, rigid timelines, commitment to improve your code over the time and polished reports on daily progress. We also expect you to accompany us while we are high! (what they call brainstorming sessions)

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role and/or related fields
  • Proactive, forward-thinking and self-starting attitude
  • Hands-on experience of WordPress
  • Flawless knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Strong knowledge of jQuery and Javascript
  • PHP knowledge
  • Knowledge of mobile and responsive design
  • Strong understanding of current standards, trends and best practices in front-end development and related fields
  • Ability to work with Git
  • Fluency with Adobe Photoshop
  • High level of interest to explore emerging technologies and experimental projects
  • Time and workload management

What you will do

  • You are required to maintain, debug, polish and improve your code over the pre-production, production and post-production courses.
  • Perform cross-browser testings
  • Follow WordPress evolution and new features it provides to build various parts of themes, plugins, etc.
  • Ability to quickly shift between multiple projects and technologies
  • Debug, diagnose and fix the flaws reported by customers or collected by staff over the time
  • Activity/progress report on daily basis

Wordpress Theme Support Staff

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Wordpress rockstar with perfect coding skills to monitor our customer support portal and help our customers setting up their site using our WordPress themes. You are eager to work in a dynamic environment and have an insatiable desire to discover and learn the emerging tech and new practices. You have worked with major WordPress plugins and are very familiar with Wordpress themes, APIs Widgets, Shortcodes, etc. Your must have previously worked in this or similar position for at least one year.

Requirement

  • Minimum of one year experience in similar role and/or related fields
  • Advanced Wordpress knowledge
  • Knowledge of WordPress codebase
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English
  • Familiar with Javascript (jQuery) and related libraries
  • Flawless knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Patience and determination to help less technical users get up and running.
  • Time/workload/influx management
  • Ability to work on collaborative teams or independently
  • Good organizational skills
  • Community management skills
  • Ability to write reports, proposals

Responsibilities

  • Monitor communication on different platforms such as Zendesk, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  • Help customers with issues that may arise from third-party plugins conflicts or server incompatibilities
  • Able to create php & CSS snippets for small customisation requests
  • Keep in close communication with developers for major bug issues and trace the product updates path
  • Actively participate on building public knowledge base for frequent questions and topics
  • Activity/progress report on daily basis
