This mostly happens when you want to use the same chunk of data in multiple pages or posts. For example, you have created a portfolio single page that you want to use as the portfolio single page for your other portfolio projects.  

It would also be great if you have created an ‘about us’ section in your ‘About Us’ page and you can  easily reuse it in ‘Services’ page again. In order to do these tasks in Jupiter V6, you should copy the code for that section directly from WordPress editor and paste it in every page you require.

With this new feature, you can skip the burdensome task of copying-and-pasting because you can now save and reuse your page sections in Jupiter. If saving and reducing is great for our environment, saving and reusing page sections is great for your energy, efficiency, and sanity!  

The drawbacks of manually copying/pasting page sections

This is not an efficient way to finish projects as it involves a lot of legwork. It will take a good amount of time if you want to paste the section code in many pages or posts. Furthermore, you have to deal with the risk of breaking the code for your template, some of which may be simply irreversible.

The other problem with this method is that you can only have one section of your design code in the clipboard at a given time. If you want to use it again in the future, you have to open the source page and copy/paste it again to your needed pages.

The time and energy you need to do this repetitive task would have been allotted to more productive activities like creating more exquisite designs. It will also drain your creative juices which will make the quality of your work suffer.

Save your page sections in a repository

With the upcoming changes, after you have finished creating one page you might need for future use, you will have the option to simply right-click on your page section and select ‘Save Section’ from the menu. You will have the ability to save and reuse your page sections in Jupiter.

After saving, you can easily retrieve the file  through a dialogue in which you can see a list of section templates you already have saved using a particular file  name. You can save as many sections as you want from different page templates and reuse them when needed.

Soon, you will have developed a solid collection of page sections that you can simply use to create any page in a short time. You can now say goodbye to copy-pasting. This major change will allow you to work better and faster. It will save you plenty of time, energy, and creative juices. Now you can focus on the grander vision for your website and business.
